DIRECTIONS for STRINGING the GUITAR and its CARE
Any guitar may be used for steel playing but only one with a good tone will give desired results. String the guitar with polished copper compound E, A and steel center D for 6th, 5th and 4th strings. Use unwound steel G and steel B for the 3rd, 2nd and 1st strings. Keep all strings highly polished with a smooth razor whetstone. Polish playing edge of steel with 000 emery paper purchased from any jeweler.
Always wipe dry the strings and playing edge of the steel when through playing. Keep guitar in case when not in use. The strings should be raised at the nut 3/16th of an inch by raising nut or using an adjuster. See that the strings lay perfectly level.
